| | As succession concession holders for the stevedoring and cargo transport activities in port vila, IPDS Co Ltd is designated to take over operations from IWS (1994) Co Ltd in due time and is dedicated to develop a pacific best practices stevedoring operation in port vila. To achieve this goal, we are seeking applicant to fill in the above position in the company. The |
| | successful applicants are expected to be part of and instrumental to setting up the future organisation in a financially sound and operationally efficient way. The position is open for internal and external applicant. Duties and responsibilities: |
| | 1) Responsible for planning, organization and control of the mechanic services of all operational plant, vehicle and equipment, and when necessary, other mechanical devices owned by the company |
| | 2) Responsible for supervision of the duties of staff and labour associated with work shop operations, ensuring an efficient, safe and profitable work shop operation |
| | 3) Responsible for maintenance schedules and ensuring that all methods and procedures are effective and efficient |
| | 4) Responsible for an efficient spare parts inventory and the control all spares and tools associated with the work shop |
| | 5) Efficiency of spare part inventory management. |
| | Interested applicant must have the following requirements: |

| | - Attitude towards continuous improvement; Computer literate; Able to learn quickly; Minimum 10 years relevant work related exeperience; Very good personal management skills; Very good planning and |
