| | Ifira Port Development & Services co.Ltd is presently supplying computer systems to the Ifira Group of companies. The present system is utilizing two servers with 25 clients, running Microsoft 2003 server software and Windows client software, MS Office systems, SQL database systems, off site email servers, Internet functionality and MYOB accounting. |
| | It will, in the future, also host a large Terminal Operating System, built to manage all aspects of the new container terminal to built at Star Wharf. To manage these systems on a day to day basis, we are now seeking to employ an experienced IT Supervisor. We encourage local Ni – Vanuatu persons to apply for this position, subject to proven experience. |

| | Will be reporting to the office manager and general manager of IPDS Co.ltd |
| | Manage the company’s information and communications system on a day to day basis, including user support, backups, breakdowns and maintenance |
| | Ensure that those systems are continuously capable of fulfilling the present and future needs of the company both from a capacity and quality point of view |
| | Administer all networks, including routers, firewalls, wireless connections, offsite email and future website functionality |
| | Develop training programs for users so that users are fully capable of utilizing all systems to its full capacity |
| | Together with the Office Manager, develop strategies to cope with possible future needs of the company and ensure that all systems are fully future proof. |
| | Interested applicant must possess the following: |
| | Criteria: |
| | - Certified on microsoft networks; Proven experience in running medium sized networks, including physical, wireless and virtual networks; Proven experience in running and maintaining Microsoft |
| | Server software; Proven experience in running and supporting MS officer suite |
| | - Good moral character, reliable, punctual and honest; Positive, can do attitude applied to all tasks. |
