| | The successful candidate will assist the Narango disability trainer to design and run a range of activities to address the need for support and information surrounding people with disabilities. Working in basic conditions with little resources the candidate will work directly with people with disabilities offering various educational sessions and |
| | physiotherapy. They will deal with a range of ages and disabilities and provide support and help. The candidate will also ensure that the lack of information surrounding disabilities is addressed by travelling to communities to run workshops and information sessions. |

| | Project Duties: |
| | 1) Reports to Narango Disability Trainer, Youth Challenge Vanuatu and YCA Program Manager |
| | 2) Plan and run workshops on disabilities and human rights |
| | 3) Provide skills training to teach people new skills to help them earn a living |
| | 4) Plan and run regular educational sessions for children and adults |
| | 5) Provide physiotherapy to patients |
| | 6) Help the community fundraise and search for external funding for the disability centre. |
| | Interested applicant must possess the following requirement: |
| | Criteria: |
| | - Vanuatu citizenship; Aged between 18 and 30 (at the time of departure); Experience working with people with a wide range of disabilities; Interest /experience in working in Rural communities; High |
| | level of english language, fluency preferred; A knowledge and commitment to Youth Challenge Vanuatu’s mission, vision, values |
| | - Experience in dealing with/setting up small businesses; Teaching experience; Experience working with people from other cultures. |
