World Vision Pacific Timo Leste (WVPTL) has a unique multi-country structure where country programs in Papua New Guinea, the Solomon Islands, Timor Leste and Vanuatu come under the umbrella of one National office based in Brisbane and fully funded by Grants.

World Visions activity goal for the rural WASH project – is to improve child wellbeing by enabling families & communities to achieve sustainable access to adequate safe water & improved sanitation facilities & practice good hygiene in 18 communities in Santo & Pentecost by year 2015.

This is a "Local Position" that reports to the Area Manager.

Duties and responsibilities:

To provide leadership, project management, implementation and coordination of the project according to approved objectives, plans of actions, and budget of the project.

Interested applicant must possess the following:

Criteria:

- Good interpersonal skills and cross-cultural sensitivity is preferred; College qualification and experience in management with high leadership qualities

- Team coordination, staff capacity building, and conflict resolution is desirable; Preferred qualifications and experience in water and sanitation hygiene

- 3 - 5 years experience in community development is essential

- Effective in written and oral communication

- This role requires a current driving license.
