Job Description:


The Governance for Growth Program, part of the Australian Aid Program in Vanuatu, is calling for applications from appropriately qualified individuals to fill the position of Program Manager. The Program Manager will join a team of three staff to deliver Australia’s development assistance to the economic governance sector in Vanuatu. 
Criteria:
  • Analytical skills, including the ability to develop and implement programs in a strategic context and a good understanding of the economic, political, social and cultural issues in development 
  • Program management skills, with supporting skills in finance management, contract management, record keeping, program data management and sound computing skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to produce high quality briefing and analytical reporting on program performance
  • Interpersonal skills, including the ability to build relationships, represent and negotiate on behalf of the Australian Government
  • Sound judgment, problem solving skills and initiative. Strong teamwork, leadership and staff management skills.
