We are looking for a Sub-Grants Officer to join our team based in Port Vila.
This position is responsible for ensuring compliance of all sub-grant related matters as per CARE and donor rules and regulations. The Sub Grants Officer will provide support in reviewing partner financial reports and also conducting financial verification. The Sub-Grants Officer will also extend support to partners as per their capacity needs. The Sub-Grants Officer is responsible for the following areas:
  • Financial Management and Compliance
  • Partnership Management
  • Program Support
  • General duties

        Criteria:
        Required Qualification and Skills
        • Bachelor degree in a related field (business administration, finance, law, etc.)
        • At least three years’ experience working in finance or contracts-related work. Experience working in an international NGO preferred
        • Prior experience and familiarity with US Government (USAID/OFDA) and Australian Government (HPA/ANCP) donor regulations, procedures and requirements
        • Experience using accounting systems and software; Sun systems preferred
        • Leadership, organising, planning and problem solving skills
        • Training and facilitation skills
        • Ability to prioritize, problem-solve, and meet agreed deadlines
        • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point).
