Job Description: 
Vanuatu Red Cross Society, working jointly with the support of the New Zealand Red Cross, is seeking applications for a dynamic and highly motivated person to immediately fill First Aid Trainee position with the VRCS team in Port Vila.
The purpose of the VRCS Youth Traineeship and Volunteer Engagement Programme is to provide further opportunities and recognition to our dedicated volunteers.  It will do this by increasing training and mentoring opportunities for VRCS volunteers by engaging a select number as VRCS youth trainees in order to increase their leadership, employability skills, and knowledge in the humanitarian sector and technical area in which they will be assigned.

          Criteria:
          Qualifications and Profile required:
          • First Aid qualification or experience
          • Red Cross trainings from any field (can be online learning)
          • A minimum of year 10 school certificate or reading and writing skills in two or more of the three Vanuatu National languages 
          • Extensive active Red Cross volunteer service.
          Knowledge & skills:
          • Experience training or supporting first aid training
          • Experience and knowledge of Vanuatu Red Cross Commercial First Aid Program and Red Cross Movement
          • Experience representing Red Cross at Events.
          Required:
          • Active experience with the Vanuatu Red Cross Society as a volunteer
          • Proven ability to follow and carry out instructions and assignment tasks under minimal supervision
          • Experience in basic computer skills such as data entry with desire to develop further
          • Experience representing Red Cross at Events.
