Job Description:
The Vanuatu National Provident Fund (VNPF) is the only social security organisation in Vanuatu that was established by the Vanuatu National Provident Fund Act [CAP 189] to provide security for workers for when they retire at the age of 55. It also provides for permanent incapacity, and survivors benefit in the event of death.

Based in our Head Office operations in Port Vila, we currently have the following job opportunities for qualified candidates:
               
                     Public Relations Officer (Re-advertisement)

Reporting to the Manager – Marketing and Communications, the primary purpose of this role is to develop and implement Public Relations strategies as well as conduct translations and proofing of texts in the official languages of Vanuatu.  We are seeking a multilingual, computer literate person with exceptional writing skills as well as communication and interpersonal skills.  Analytical and problem solving skills as well as the effective use of multimedia tools is also a must for this position.

Coordinator - Training and Development (3 month contract)

Under the direction of the HR Manager, the primary responsibilities of this role is to assist in upskilling the Fund’s workforce via the delivery of identified staff training and development services and any associated processes.

Criteria:
Public Relations Officer
  • The successful candidate must hold relevant tertiary qualifications to suit the job tasks.  Relevant experience in a similar role is also an added bonus.
Coordinator - Training and Development
  • While training will be provided, previous experience in either a Training and/or Human Resources role would be highly desirable.  Preferred language skills in English, Bislama and French would be advantageous.
