Job Description:
Ramada Resort Port Vila, Vanuatu
Seeking Executive Chef in charge of the F&B Division.

Idyllic resort property in the Vanuatu and part of the Wyndham Worldwide Group, is seeking an Executive Chef. You will be responsible for the smooth operation of all kitchen operations, food production and service.
Criteria: 

  • Menu planning cost and quality control, purchasing, supplies, budgeting and manning
  • You will be an excellent team player and have a hands on approach
  • The ability and knowledge to create innovative and creative menus whilst taking into consideration local requirements, availability of produce, market needs and current trends
  • Being especially innovative in buffet set-ups a la cart and menu engineering
  • Proven people management and communication skills 
Requirements
  • Previous working experience on an Island Resort or 5-star resort is essential and you will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience as Executive Chef with a minimum 3 years in the South Pacific.  

    Salary:

    A good salary package is offered to the successful candidate.
