The Fund is now seeking to recruit for its Head Office in Port Vila, a RISK MANAGEMENT & COMPLIANCE OFFICER.

Primary Objectives of Position
This position is responsible for working closely with the Senior Risk and Compliance Officer for coordinating and overseeing all corporate risk management activities, ensuring compliance with the internal policies, relevant contracts and agreements and all legal and regulatory requirements in accordance with the VNPF Act, and other internal and external regulatory governance requirements.

  • Undertaking the business risk analysis and documenting the results
  • Developing, maintaining and reviewing the risk register
  • Ensuring the Funds compliance framework complies with VNPF Act, Government, external regulatory supervisions and other supervisory authorities
  • Investigating and reporting on compliance breaches, and identifying and documenting agreed upon remedial actions
  • Assist in the facilitation of internal audit reviews and other assignments requested by the Management and the VNPF Board of Trustees.

Qualifications

              Background: 
              Vanuatu Family Health Association works in the country to deliver Family Planning and Sexual Reproductive Health Services including health awareness in communities.

              The Association advertises the position of a Data and Monitoring and Evaluation Officer.

              Purpose for the Job:
              • To enter daily clinic statistics on data system
              • To conduct annual work plan monitoring including activities and budgets and provide timely and regular reports highlighting progress made and achievements, challenges and lessons learned
              • To coordinate data collection, tallying, consolidation and data entry and data analysis and reporting. 
              Duties and Responsibilities:
              • In close collaboration with Programme Officers and Clinical Nurses, design simple data collection tools, forms and templates to capture data at static clinic, mobile clinic, associate Community Based Distributors (CBDs), communities
              • Coordinate collection of data from the static clinic, mobile clinic outreach, CBDs and youth outreach in close liaison with clinical nurses and relevant staff
              • Consolidate data and conduct weekly, monthly and quarterly data entry in the Associations Global Reporting system
              • Conduct data trend analysis and tabulation via table, graphical, pictorial and mapping visualizations
              • Coordinate monitoring and tracking implementation of project/programme activities in the Integrated Annual Work Plan in close collaboration with relevant programme and clinical staff, highlighting progress and achievements made and challenges and lessons learned
              • Monitor all project activities, expenditures and progress towards achieving results (outputs/outcomes)
              • In close collaboration with Programme Officers and Clinical Nurses provide support in the design of survey forms when necessary for the conduct of community based surveys for data collection and information gathering
              • Other tasks and duties that may be assigned from time to time by the Executive Director.
