Job Description:

We have a cracking opportunity for a senior Executive Chef to join the team at The Port.



We are looking for an enthusiastic, creative and fully qualified Executive Chef to run our busy kitchen and manage our floor and bar staff. The Port Bar offers a bistro cycle dining and bat experience which is unique in Vanuatu. The restaurant offers high quality food with an emphasis on fresh, local produce. We want someone who loves what they do and is passionate

about helping us to produce innovative dishes and developing our core menu.

Criteria:

- You must have at least five years’ experience in an equivalent position and overseas experience will be an advantage.

- Managing a busy kitchen;

- Setting menus and food pricing;

- Ordering and monitoring supplies;

- Rostering staff; Coaching and mentoring kitchen staff.
