Applications are invited for the above position within Air Vanuatu (Operations) Limited reporting to Manager Airport and Domestic Services.

The successful candidate will be subject to a background check as a condition of employment

Duties and responsibilities:

1) Will be required to provide information, directions, and assistance to passengers and the public through the use of oral and written directions following Air Vanuatu Departmental policies and procedures in order to facilitate the smooth flow of passenger traffic and enhance the passenger/public experience through best work practices

2) Co-ordinate the domestic flight services team at whitegrass airport

3) Provide information to passengers and customers

4) Ensure that all accounting functions (Revenue Collections) are carried out and conducted in accordance approved corporate policies and procedures that are reflected in "Best Accounting Practices"

5) Ensure that all flight service operations are co-ordinate in order to facilitate a well maintained and operated airline

6) Ensure that all safety and security standards are maintained at all time

7) Assess flight schedules using IT services available for both incoming and outbound service operations

8) Maintain all airport corporate safety and security standards

9) Complete and submit domestic service activity report in a timely and efficient manner.

Criteria:

- Have good knowledge of business principles, be able to utilize available resources and ensure that all operational staff activities are well and properly; Co-ordinated

- Ensure that all staff personal standards regarding dress-customer service attitudes reflect a standard of excellence at all time both externally and internally; Have the ability to adapt to the varying

operational changes that occur with domestic services through ensuring compliance with all corporate policies and procedures

- Ability to communicate orally and in writing with a variety of individuals from varying backgrounds in order understand requests and provide instructions and information concerning airport service

- Ability to interpret and implement instructions issued by management; Completed a minimum of year 12; Work will include shift work, night, weekends and holidays.
