The Executive Officer will be base in project Management Unit (PMU) as the secretariat to the National Advisory Board (NAB) on climate Change and Disaster Risk Reduction hosted under VMGD. The incumbent will play a key role in for the project in accordance with the requirements of the PFEM Act, Government Contract and Tenders Act 1998 and where

necessary the world Bank and other donor requirements. The incumbent will report directly to the project Coordinator.

The Executive Officer, acting in accordance within agreed Project Workplans provided by the Project Coordinator, and will be responsible for the day-to-day activities relating to all Administration under MDRR.

Specifically, the Executive Officer will carry out (but not limited to) the following tasks:

1) Co-ordinate the effective and efficient management of the Administration for Project coordination Unit (PCU)

2) Support the PCU with logistic arrangements for implementation and documentation of workshops, training, drills and conferences

3) Provide logistic support in arranging all project related travel

4) Liaise with stakeholders in e.g. Vila and Luganville, and arrange meetings, workshops, ect

5) Write minute of meetings, such as PCU meeting, TAG meeting and other as required.

Interested applicant must possess the following:

Criteria:

- Certificate in management, accounting or secretary school, advantage Diploma or University Degree in accounting and management related disciplines

- At least 2 years of professional working experience in a similar position

- Excellent command of MS-office and ability to learn accounting software

- Excellent knowledge of the English language and good working knowledge of Bislama language

- Previous experience working on donor project.
