Job Description:

Hawkins Vanuatu Limited, is an independent operating entity of the Hawkins Group, who will deliver the rehabilitation and development of the seafront and portside precincts in Port Vila. They are currently looking for a suitably qualified and competent person in the following field: Project Commercial Manager Responsible for the setup of commercial arrangements, on-going commercial and project financial management across Hawkins Infrastructure projects, monitoring of budgets, reviewing costs to complete, tender reviews, programming reviews, progress claims and variations, cash flow forecasting and project closeout. Key Responsibilities Ensure project start up is well managed including resources, systems, commercial handover, system setup, physical assets etc. are all in place and timely Liaise with Estimators for handover to project team, including obtaining a full understanding of tender financial allowances and construction methodology to enable reporting against project methodology Ensure the project commercial documentation is in place, has an acceptable risk profile, meets business and external legal requirements and is compliant with Country specific standards Ensure the commercial team are trained on the required business and financial systems to a standard that optimises the systems to a consistent level Ensure subcontractor terms are appropriate, contracted, monitored and enforced. Criteria:  Qualifications/Experience required 10 years construction/Infrastructure industry experience 10 Years Senior Quantity Surveyor experience Currently a commercial Manager or similar role Knowledge of Contracts such as: FIDIC, NEC, JCT, etc.
